Jaarlijks verlaat ruim 6 miljoen ton staal onze sites, via land, ter zee of via spoor. Overal waar je kijkt kom je ons staal tegen. The safety matrix shows the relation between the installation (machine groups) and the locked stop zones or emergency stop zones or test zones. Today this is managed in an excel file but this is a very inefficient way of working and is not user friendly. This results in bad coherence of the data, introduction of errors, … which is critical when talking about safety.
